COVID-SAFE Instructions for Treatment


PREPARATION FOR TREATMENT:

  • All appointments must be scheduled.

  • All Clients must complete and submit “COVID-19 Pre-Appointment Screening Questionnaire”. If accepted you will receive instructions for day of treatment protocols. (Questionnaire will be sent 2-3 days prior to your appointment)

Note: Please answer questionnaire truthfully for everyone’s protection. If you are sick or not feeling well please stay home and call office to cancel appointment.

  • Once appointment is accepted we will send you our “COVID-SAFE Policies and Instructions for Treatment “ Form that you must read, consent to and submit before your scheduled appointment. Please submit immediately, or at least one day prior to treatment. If you would like a copy for your records, check the bottom of form before submission.

  • Bring Mask with you

  • Wear tank top or something loose that you can pull your arms out of so neck and décolleté may be treated. You will not be getting changed for your appointment.

  • BYOB - Bring your own blanket. Due to Covid regulations we are unable to provide blankets for each client.

  • Be prepared to have temperature taken.

  • Sanitize your hands

  • No visitors or onlookers allowed.

  • No one is permitted in the waiting area or normal checkout area other than authorized personnel.

  • NEW Contact-free SQUARE payments are available. We NOW accept Apple Pay, G Pay and all other major credit cards. Cash, Checks and Gift Cards will also be accepted.

  • Gratuity may be accepted using Cash, Credit Card or Venmo.


ONCE ARRIVED:

  • Please stay in your car and call the front desk when you arrive. Let us what color and make car you are in.

  • Please put on your mask.

  • Once we receive your call, we will come out to take your temperature. If your temperature is acceptable, we will escort you into our office and to the treatment room.

  • No visitors will be permitted to enter the office with you, so please come alone.


OFFICE ENTRY:

  • Once you enter the office you’ll be required to sanitize your hands at our “Sanitation Station” located at our entrance before further entry.

  • Mask must be worn at all times in all areas unless being treated within the treatment room.

  • You will be escorted to the treatment room. All other areas are prohibited.

  • At this time you are welcome to use the restroom before your treatment.

  • Once in the treatment room you can remove your mask. Please take a tissue and place it on the jewelry dish located on dressing table. Place mask and any jewelry on tissue on top of jewelry dish.

  • You will not be getting unchanged at this time until restrictions are lifted. We recommend wearing a tank top or something loose that you can pull your arms out of so neck and décolleté area may be treated. Please take off your shoes.

  • The bed will be covered with disposable paper and clean towel to put your head on. If you’ve brought your own blanket (BYOB) feel free to use it at this time.

Steam will not be used at this time for treatments due to COVID-19 regulations until the order is lifted and we get the OK by the State Board of Cosmetology. We will however be using plenty of warm towels. Please know that these changes come directly guided by our State Board, industry leaders and professionals for the safest means possible to reopen. These changes will remain fluid as we move forward TOGETHER! 


FOR YOUR PROTECTION:

Service Providers will be wearing a Surgical Mask, Gloves and a Face Shield/Safety Glasses depending on service provided, and Mask in all other areas of office. When entering and exiting building, and after each client our temperature will be taken. All linens are professionally laundered and sanitized. All Implements, tools and equipment have been thoroughly washed, sanitized and disinfected with Hospital Grade/HIV Disinfectant registered by the EPA in an ultrasonic cleaner and UV sanitized if not disposable. For safety purposes and social distancing I have scheduled additional time in between each client service to avoid client inner action and allow for longer cleaning times.


SCHEDULING, PAYMENT FOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES:

  • After treatment you will stay in treatment room until lobby is free of all visitors before exiting.

  • We will gather any products that you may want to purchase and bring them to you.

  • Scheduling and Payments at this time may be done within the treatment room or front lobby to avoid client interaction. If using credit card for payment we will have you pay before exiting with our Contact-less SQUARE payment device at our Check-In window.

  • Curbside PICK-UP will be available for all other non-scheduled gift certificate and skincare product purchases. Product orders may be placed by phone 484-367-7582, email Sharon@sharongordonskin.com, or through our website by submitting our PRODUCT ORDER FORM. We will contact you for payment, & setup a time for curbside pickup.


BEFORE EXITING THE BUILDING:

  • Please feel free at this time to use the Restroom and our new touch-free soap dispenser to wash your hands.

  • We ask that you sanitize your hands before exiting with our touch-less hand sanitizer dispenser located at Check-In window in waiting area or the “Sanitation Station” located at our exit. You will then be escorted out of the building.


IN CLOSING:

Although some things may look and feel a little different for a while in our new normal, We are committed to continuing to provide you with excellent service without compromising you and other guest's health. I hope you enjoy your long awaited and much deserved treatment.
